Irish Crafts
How It Is Made
From a pencil sketch to a finished piece on your shelf: the slow, careful process behind every Irish Crafts object.

01 · Designed
Weeks of drawing, for one quiet form
Every piece starts as a sketch. The best ideas are modelled digitally, printed as rough prototypes and lived with at home for a few weeks. We only keep the forms that still feel right after a month of daily use.
02 · Printed in Ireland
Layer by layer, made to order
When you order, your piece is printed in our studio, often in more than five hundred fine layers. Those layers give the surface its soft, linen-like texture. A vase takes between six and twenty hours to print.

03 · Finished by hand
Inspected, sealed, tested
Each piece is cleaned and checked by hand. Vases are sealed and water-tested, and lamps are wired with CE-marked fittings and tested before they leave the bench.
04 · Sent plastic-free
Wrapped in paper, shipped across the EU
Your order is wrapped in recycled paper and shipped in recycled, recyclable card. Most orders leave us within 3–5 working days and arrive 1–5 days later.
